Aim for 300 pixels per inch at the final printed size for small prints viewed up close. Large-format work viewed farther away may need a different resolution. Match the final production template.
File size in megabytes alone is not a quality measure. Pixel dimensions and the size at which those pixels are printed determine effective resolution.
Bleed extends background artwork beyond the trim edge to help avoid white gaps after cutting. Keep important text and logos inside the template’s safe area; use the bleed specified for your particular product.

Remove dirt, dust, grease, oil and wax. Use a cleaner compatible with the surface and let it dry before application. Do not assume a solvent is safe for every finish.
No. Plastic types and surface energy affect adhesive compatibility. Test a small sample on the actual item before committing to a full application.
Follow the exact film’s technical sheet. ORAFOL’s general guidance recommends 65–75°F for best results and says not to apply below 46°F unless the product sheet specifies otherwise. These are ORAFOL guidelines, not a universal temperature rating for Sticker Labs products.
No. General Formulations prefers dry application for general-purpose vinyl. Wet methods are suitable only for certain film and adhesive combinations. Use the instructions for your exact material.
It can. 3M explains that removal depends on the film, adhesive, age, exposure and substrate condition. Weak, aged or poorly bonded finishes may be damaged. Removable does not mean damage-free on every surface. Check the specific material and test first; seek professional advice for valuable or delicate surfaces.
